Established in 1990, Vaaman Engineers provides comprehensive industrial services Pan-India to a wide range of industry sectors – Steel Plants, Zinc and Aluminium Smelters, Cast House including Ingot Casting & Wire Rod Mills, Power Transmission Conductors, Transmission & Telecom Tower Fabrication Industry, Specialised Port Facilities, Bulk Material Handling in Mines and Plants.

Our outreach has spread across India with suite of services including Operation & Maintenance, Shut Down Maintenance, Bulk Material Handling from Zinc Ore, Coal and Alumina Handling at Ports, Finished Goods Handling, Material Handling Equipment Hiring, Project services such as Fabrication & Erection of Structures, Piping, Pipe Racks etc., Equipment Erection and Commission.

Vaaman has a talent pool of 3500+ employees equipped with best-in-class tools and tackles & equipment and is outfitted with well-developed IT infrastructure.

1990

Established as a proprietorship company and started small project activities.

1995

Secured first Erection & Commissioning contract for Wire Rod Mill and Power Conductors machinery.

2000

Secured O&M contract for Wire Rod Mill and Power Conductors.

2005

Restructured as a Limited Company with headquarters in Mumbai.

2010

First contract from Tata Steel for plant maintenance.

2012

Diversified in to Port Material Handling and O & M services for alumina handling facilities at Kakinada Port.

2013

Commenced O&M & Material Handling activities for mining industry.

2015

Breakthrough in Plant O & M services of Zinc and Lead Smelter from raw material to finished goods at HZL, Debari.

2016

Secured prestigious contract for O & M of Aluminium Cast House as Vedanta Ltd.

Mechanical Engineer with Post Graduation in Operations Management having 15+ years of experience in Steel Plant in O & M activities at Jindal Steel, Bhushan Steel and Jindal Steel & Power. Astute professional with specialisation in maintenance activities of Furnaces and Hot Rolling Mills.

Abhijeet Mukherjee

Mechanical Engineering Graduate having 26 years of maintenance career in diverse industries from Aluminium Industries viz. JINDAL & Hindalco, Glass industry Gujarat Guardian Ltd. & Rockwool India. He has specialisation in Aluminium Rolling Mills Maintenance, Planning and Plant Engineering, Trouble Shooting, Spares Management and Shut Down Maintenance.
